Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering streams with minimum 60%.
MSc / MCA / MBA / MTech with 60% (for Education & Logistics entries).
Law Entry: Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks, recognized by Bar Council of India.
Age Limits:
General Service (GS X)/Hydro: Born between 2 Jul 2001 – 1 Jan 2007
Pilot/Observer/ATC: Born between 2 Jul 2001 – 1 Jul 2006
Education: Born between 2 Jul 2001 – 1 Jul 2005
Law: Born between 2 Jul 1999 – 1 Jul 2004
👉 Candidate must be unmarried at the time of application and during training.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on normalized marks obtained in qualifying degree (up to 5th/7th semester for BE/B.Tech and pre-final year for PG students).
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed via registered email and SMS.
- Medical Examination: As per Navy medical standards.
- Final Merit List: Based on SSB performance, subject to medical clearance.
🔹 Training & Service Conditions
Training at INA, Ezhimala, Kerala.
Entry as Sub Lieutenant on commissioning.
Probation Period: 2 years (3 years for NAIC).
Service Tenure: SSC is for 12 years, extendable by 2 more years based on performance & service requirement.
Pay & Perks:
Starting basic pay as Sub Lieutenant: ₹56,100 (7th CPC Level-10).
Approximate gross salary at entry: ₹1.1 Lakh per month with allowances.
